Job Summary:
An Intermediate Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions. We’re looking for someone who can provide high-quality work while working efficiently. This position will report to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Review junior staff’s work
- Assist with month-end procedures
- Assist with Audit
- Assist with preparation of financial statements (under ASPE)
- Assist with job costing
Qualifications:
- Business Diploma/Degree with a focus in accounting
- 3 to 5 years related experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and eager to learn new software
