Highlights

Canadian Fiber Optics was awarded a $3.5M construction project on the Islands of Haida GWaii to connect 499 homes and businesses in Sandspit, Port Clements, Tlell, Lawn Hill, Miller Creek and Tow Hill with an underground fiber deployment.

The construction included construction of 2 beach landings and a 10 km sub sea fiber deployment connecting Moresby and Graham Island.

During construction the project increased in scope to complete close to 700 connections.

Canadian Fiber Optics and its partners worked in close conjunction with the First Nations on the Islands to protect the delicate land and marine environment and are grateful to have been able to hire local staff to help complete the project.
