Highlights
Multi year project to build critical infrastructure to enable RDC’s continued economic development and diversification.
Contracted to build fiber backbone and fiber to the home throughout Red Deer County to connect municipalities, residents, farms and businesses.
Partnership with Valo Networks to manage the Active Network.
In the summer of 2019 Canadian Fiber Optics in partnership with Valo Networks was awarded a multi year contract to construct a Fiber backbone throughout Red Deer County AB.
Canadian Fiber Optics is responsible for design and engineering, permitting , procurement and construction of a next generation transport and Fiber to the Home GPON fiber network.
The network will create critical fiber infrastructure that will be leveraged to connect residents, farms and businesses throughout the County of Red Deer as well as provide connectivity to incorporated towns and villages inside the County boundaries.
Valo Networks will provide wholesale Gigabit connectivity and internet services to support fiber-to-the-premise and wireless services in the county.
